The Saudi Society of Optometry has signed an official agreement with Comexposium to launch SILMO Riyadh starting in 2026, in collaboration with OptiVision Exhibition. This milestone marks a significant step toward strengthening Saudi Arabia’s role as a regional and global hub for the optical and eye care industry.
The inaugural edition of the exhibition will take place from November 27–29, 2026, at the Riyadh International Convention & Exhibition Center in Riyadh. The event is expected to bring together leading professionals, industry experts, and international companies specializing in optics, eyewear, and eye care technologies.
The launch of SILMO Riyadh will coincide with the hosting of the 6th World Congress of Optometry (WCO6), organized by the World Council of Optometry in partnership with the Saudi Society of Optometry. This alignment will create a unique global platform where scientific knowledge, innovation, and industry collaboration converge under one roof.
By bringing together international experts, manufacturers, researchers, and practitioners, the event aims to foster professional exchange, showcase the latest advancements in optical technology, and support the continued development of eye care worldwide.
